Help us with programming this LED Cube

We have this 8x8x8 LED Cube sitting in the Maker Cube makerspace which we have been fiddling with once in a while. Write now we have a TI Tiva Series Launchpad attached to it. We are looking for people to join us in programming it, currently we are using some old code for it done in Code Composer, but there is a possibility of using Energia as well and starting over the code. Also potentially figuring out how to wire up an Arduino Mega to it instead and finding some code online we can fiddle with might work well.
